A one day briefing on the management of Integrated Projects (IPs) within the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Brussels on 16 October.
The event is targeted towards research and development managers and practitioners, and will focus on the following key themes:
- Review of the Commission's objectives and aims in establishing the integrated project structure;
- Analysis of the various management structures that could be set up to manage an IP;
- Overview of the principle eligibility rules and review auditing issues.
The briefing will be delivered by the authors of a major study for the Commission on the management of 'big projects'. They will draw on the study's practical findings and provide a detailed insight into the thinking behind FP6 Integrated Projects.
