An international conference on eco-efficient products and processes will take place on 16 to 17 of October in Katowice, Poland.
The conference addresses researchers and company representatives from different industry branches that are interested in the three following topics: cleaner production, process optimisation and green product development.
A main goal of the conference is to increase research cooperation between EU countries and EU-accession countries. The conference will also seek to find common ideas for research projects, especially within the context of the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
The conference is being organised by the Baltic 21 institute for sustainable industry, with the support of the European Commission.
