The four surviving women's colleges in Oxford and Cambridge must be protected from admitting men, according to a campaign launched by female students this week. The governing body at St Hilda's College, Oxford, narrowly voted to maintain single-sex status earlier this year. Students at both universities are worried that future votes will go the other way.
