Moscow fire and police officials were this week continuing their investigation into the deaths of 36 foreign students after a blaze at the Peoples' Friendship University.
Vietnamese, Chinese, African and Asian students were among those who died in the building, which housed 0 students. More than 130 students were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation and other injuries. The fire, which destroyed the top three floors of the five-storey building, is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
