UK universities will soon be able to access the entire digital archive of the Royal Society of Chemistry for £50, after a deal between the Joint Information Systems Committee and the RSC. The agreement, announced on Tuesday, will enable researchers to read more than 200,000 scientific articles dating back to 1841. Such a package would normally cost institutions Pounds 25,000.
