Google pulls AUT ads

Adverts attacking the employment practices of Brunel University, which popped up on the internet search engine Google each time anyone tried to find information on the London institution, have been pulled.

The Association of University Teachers, which placed the adverts as part of its campaign against redundancies at Brunel, said that Google had confirmed it would no longer run the ads, as they breached its policy.
