Organised by EuroStemCells, the summer school on stem cells and regenerative medicine will take place in Hydra, Greece, from 16 to 22 September. The summer school will provide a critical analysis of contemporary issues in stem cell biology.
Major themes include:
- biology of stem cells (embryonic stem cells, foetal stem cells and adult stem cells);
- clinical applications of stem cell research;
- ethical and societal issues.
Summer school participants will have the opportunity to interact with leaders in the stem cell field, and explore the application of microarray and imaging technologies in stem cell research.
