Oxford University is reviewing whether it can continue to admit child prodigies to undergraduate degrees. Under the Children Act 2004, one-to-one tutorials could pose problems and, in addition, criminal checks may be required for all those sharing college accommodation with underage students. Yinan Wang, 14, due to start studying materials science at Corpus Christi College this autumn, could be Oxford's last underage undergraduate.
