If UK universities are indeed embroiled in a culture war over Brexit (“Are UK universities on the front line of a Brexit ‘culture war’?”, News, 9 November) how can we, as Andy Westwood suggests, “…demonstrate our use and benefit to both sides”? Unless he means by pointing out, with evidence, the fallacy of one side in the argument. In the case of Brexit, that would surely be a useful function.
