Edinburgh University's court is next month expected to debate stripping Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe of the honorary degree he was awarded in 1984. Students have for many years called for the degree to be revoked. Edinburgh's rector, Green MSP Mark Ballard, has pledged to raise the issue at court.
