A £12 million fund has been set up to enable Canadian universities to attract the brightest academics from around the world. The fund set up by the Canada Foundation for Innovation, a corporation created by the federal Government, will provide infrastructure for 136 projects at 40 universities for academics who are leaders in their field or have the potential to become so.
