International students who achieve a UK degree will be allowed to remain in the country for an extra year after graduation, the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills said. Graduates eligible for a new category of post-study visa will be able to stay for two years. Higher Education Minister Bill Rammell said the move would make the UK a more attractive destination for overseas students.
