The Council for the Assistance to Refugee Academics is to receive the University of Graz's Human Rights Prize 2007. Cara, founded in 1933 to support scientists persecuted by the Nazis, today provides support to academics worldwide and has helped 9,000 academic refugees in the past five decades.
