The number of international postgraduate students registering on science and engineering programmes at Salford this academic year is 70 per cent higher than in 2006/07, the university said. Paul Sayer, director of admissions for the School of Computing, Science and Engineering said that a contributing factor to the increase was the consolidation of science and engineering programmes into one faculty.
