Preston Lindsay is an American organisational psychologist and professor and who specialises in antiracist organisational development and change management with more than 10 years of executive leadership in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors.
Professor Lindsay is a professor of industrial organisational psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park and is on faculty at several other institutions. Professor Lindsay’s current research centers on human behaviour and systems in the workplace. His research takes a phenomenological and constructivist approach to examining how organisational trauma influences worker cognition and consciousness.
Presently, Professor Lindsay serves as President and CEO of The Lindsay Group Co. an organisational development consulting firm he founded which offers strategic planning facilitation to organisations of all kinds. Passionate about social justice and advocating for underserved and historically marginalised communities, in his personal time, Professor Lindsay offers his organisational development expertise by chairing a few boards of community-based, social justice organisations.
