Internationalism to be redefined as global exchanges between academic communities grow, says university president

City University of Hong Kong’s president, Way Kuo, describes the agility and efficiency with which CityU was able to transition to online learning in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.

He believes the advent of greater online access to university education indeed proves that this crisis has led to a new dawn for higher education. 

The move to expand online learning and communication options, he notes, will redefine many aspects of internationalism in higher education, particularly through academic exchanges.
