Rollercoasters that can respond to their passengers' emotions are to be developed by scientists at the University of Nottingham. Research will focus initially on developing systems to monitor riders' enjoyment of theme-park rides, but the ultimate goal is to create rides that adapt so as to maximise individual experiences. Researchers will collaborate with design practice Aerial.
