The European Commission has awarded £8 million to a team of 18 European partners to develop pocket-sized, energy-efficient biomedical lasers. The University of Dundee is leading the project, which will design lasers for use in microscopy and nanosurgery. Dundee will create five new research posts for the four-year project.
