A partnership between Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in India and the University of Warwick will result in collaborations in the study of law, governance, social studies and the arts. A memorandum of understanding was due to be signed at JNU's New Delhi campus this week. Michael Whitby, the pro vice-chancellor for international affairs at Warwick, said the partnership would provide "exciting" opportunities for UK and Indian research teams.
