Queen Mary University of London, Drama, topped the ranking for the music, drama, dance, performing arts, film and screen studies unit of assessment with a GPA of 3.7.
Royal Holloway, University of London, was second with a GPA of 3.68 alongside the University of Manchester, Drama, which climbed from 5th to joint second with a GPA of 3.68, up from 3.42.
The University of Roehampton dropped from second to eighth despite improving its GPA slightly from 3.55 to 3.57. The University of Warwick fell from joint sixth in 2014 to joint 12th this time.
At a national level the Music, Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, Film and Screen Studies UoA has a GPA of 3.08, with 39 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 1523.27 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
