The London School of Economics retained its number one position for the unit of assessment covering communication, cultural and media studies, library and information management, having topped our GPA rankings in 2014.
Cardiff University excelled once again in this unit of assessment, taking second spot as it did eight years ago, while the University of Leicester’s museum studies group moved up from fourth spot in 2014 to claim third position this year.
At a national level the Communication, Cultural and Media Studies, Library and Information Management UoA has a GPA of 3.15, with 38 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 1302.69 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
