Evaluating the impact of urban regeneration on young people and their families

This project will investigate how urban regeneration programmes impact on health and psychological well-being, and its wider determinants. A comparison will be made of changes in families in an area undergoing regeneration with those in areas with no regeneration. The project will study the impact of 2012 Olympic-related urban regeneration on the social determinants of health (employment), health behaviours (physical activity) and health outcomes (mental health and well-being) of adolescents and their parents.
