Worcester College of Technology has invested a Pounds 239,000 Government grant in a computer-integrated manufacturing system from the Yorkshire firm Denford. It includes robots, an automated guided vehicle and a computer numerically controlled lathe. The small but fully capable machines use less raw material than the larger models bought by some other educational institutions.
