Raven has landed at Sussex

All degree programmes at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication will be validated by Sussex University following an announcement last week of an official affiliation between the two institutions.

The move follows months of negotiations and is intended to boost higher education services locally and strengthen teaching programmes at both institutions. The two institutions hope that collaboration will lead to greater efficiency and savings.

The institutions plan to begin work on curriculum development and innovation, particularly the application of digital technology, immediately. A committee is to be set up to oversee developments. The two institutions have agreed to review jointly, and through their own governing bodies, progress towards collaboration every two years and to take appropriate action either to speed up progress or to terminate the link.
