The University of Greenwich has been given permission for a new campus at the historic Royal Naval College site at Greenwich, sharing it with the National Maritime Museum. An independent trust will be established to protect the Grade 1 listed buildings. The university hopes to begin moving in by the 1998/99 academic year.
