Changes ahead

From January 1996, Noticeboard will change its emphasis to give more space to people in further and higher education in terms of appointments, promotions, honours, awards, fellowships, etc, of academic and other staff, students, governors and members of councils and boards. We would particularly welcome portrait photographs for this expanded section.

We will also be including some research grants below our present Pounds 50,000 cut-off point, particularly in humanities and social sciences.

To make room for this improved "gazette", events listings will now be carried only on THESIS, our Internet service, under "Netgazette".
