A new Computers in Teaching Initiative centre is now a rare event. The 23 existing centres, which offer advice on the use of information technology in higher education, already cover most academic subjects. The University of Brighton hosts the new centre for art and design, which will advise on graphics, film and photography, fashion, fine art and three dimensional design.
