Chairs

UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL G. Macdonald, former reader in applied social studies at Royal Holloway College and research fellow at Green College, University of Oxford, has been appointed to the chair in social work and applied social studies; G. Harrison, professor of community mental health in the department of psychiatry at the University of Nottingham, has been appointed to the chair in mental health; E. Gale, professor of diabetes and head of department at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, has been appointed to the chair in diabetic medicine.
