Glasgow Caledonian University has joined with the London Stock Exchange in Glasgow to boost Scotland's business competitiveness.
This is the first time that the Exchange has forged such close ties with an academic institution. The agreement will include developing a dedicated research and consultancy programme for the Exchange and its members, including listed companies and stockbrokers.
Stan Mason, GCU's principal, said: "This partnership will further enhance Glasgow's reputation as a leading financial centre."
