Times Higher Education (THE), the trusted global data partner for higher education, has announced its latest student partnership with the world’s learning company, Pearson, to provide prospective international students with access to PTE – their trusted English-language testing service.
Pearson PTE offers unbiased computer-based testing to assess and validate English-language proficiency. PTE test results are accepted by universities, colleges and governments around the world, supporting study abroad applications as well as being approved for UK, Australia and New Zealand visas and immigration.
Working with THE, Pearson’s PTE products will be made available to the millions of prospective international students visiting its website every year by allowing them to opt-in to find out more about the service when they’re at the right stage of their study abroad journey.
Pearson becomes THE’s 16th student partner, as THE works to aggregate trusted partners to help the millions of prospective international students visiting its website every year realise their ambitions of studying abroad and take their first career steps after their studies.
Patrick Hayes, Chief Development Officer at THE, commented:
“Proving proficiency in the English language is essential for candidates looking to study abroad at an English-speaking institution. Pearson PTE takes the pain out of the process, bringing peace of mind to international students as they engage in what is often a confusing and challenging journey into international study. THE is delighted to be able to announce Pearson as its latest student partner, supporting our ultimate objective of providing start-to-finish support to those looking to study abroad.”
Sarah Whitfield, Pearson’s Vice President of Marketing for English Assessment, said:
“We look forward to working with THE. By working together, we will be able to provide international students with information about PTE and Pearson English products that will help them get accepted to their university of choice or start a career abroad. A globally recognised and well-respected Higher Education brand, we are proud to partner with THE as they continue to expand their support of international students.”
