Times Higher Education (THE) is delighted to announce that PwC, the global network of professional services firms, is joining its prestigious THE World Summit Series as a Global Partner. The sponsorship will see PwC participants run sessions and speak at THE’s global summits, including THE World Academic Summit, Leadership & Management Summit, Teaching Excellence Summit, Emerging Economies Summit, THE Arab University Rankings Forum and the Climate Impact Forum.
An essential forum for university presidents and vice-chancellors, chief executives and decision-makers, THE’s World Summit Series has been running since 2013. The events bring together pre-eminent global thought leaders across higher education, research, industry and government to share best practice and innovation in the development and leadership of world-class universities and shape the future for international higher education governance and innovation.
The sponsorship will focus on PwC’s Global Education & Skills network, established to address the broad range of challenges and opportunities facing colleges and universities around the world, and to support them in adapting to today’s increasingly dynamic and digital world.
The sponsorship will commence at THE’s World Academic Summit 2021, held virtually between 1-3 September. PwC participants will be running a session titled Developing robust and sustainable faculty support for greater international collaboration covering topics including resources for developing and delivering blended learning, maximising international collaboration among teaching staff, and flexible learning and assessment to maximise engagement with international students. The session will include panellists from a series of roundtable events held by PwC in Africa, the Middle East, the UK and Australia.
