In November 20, 2021, during the Founder’s Dinner which doubles as the Annual Founder’s Scholarships, Prizes and Awards Night, ABUAD awarded more than 200 scholarships to students from lower income backgrounds. Through the Annual Founder’s Scholarship and Prize Scheme, ABUAD provides comprehensive financial aid to poor and indigent students. The Scheme provides tuition free education to two fresh students in each of the five undergraduate colleges based on proof of hardship.

The scholarship therefore enables more than 10 indigent students every year to study free of charge all through the entire duration of their degree program at ABUAD. Furthermore, and in addition to scholarships, the Scheme provides annual prizes and emergency financial aid to students who have demonstrated financial need.

There are no limits to the number of financial support and aid awarded to students each year. Students who demonstrate financial need and are maintaining satisfactory GPA in their studies are automatically considered for financial aid under the Founder’s Award Scheme.

So far, the University has spent more than $US1 Million in providing annual awards and financial aid to indigent and talented students.
