Luis Amigó Catholic University is based in Medellin, Colombia.
It was first established as the Luis Amigo Foundation in 1984 and attained full university status in 2016.
While the main campus is in Medellin, it also has a network of campuses, with significant presences in Bogota, Apartado, Manizales and Montera.
It has faculties of administrative science, communications, publicity and design, law and political science, education and humanities, engineering and architecture, and social science, health and wellbeing.
Postgraduate programmes include big data and business intelligence, while a graphic design degree was offered for the first time at Manizales.
Distance-taught courses are available at undergraduate and graduate levels while the range of continuing education diplomas is highly eclectic, offering options such as Jewish literature, evaluating and measuring social impact and ethnoeducation and Afro-Colombian studies.
