ITM University, Gurgaon, is one of the foremost independent multidisciplinary universities in North India. It was established in 1996 as an affiliated engineering college. In recognition of its performance as an affiliated institution and its potential for excellence, it was the first affiliated college to be upgraded an autonomous institution. Within a year, it was Haryana’s first independent multidisciplinary university offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in engineering, management and law. ITMU is a small but unique institution of higher learning. It has a strong engineering and technology base and a multidisciplinary approach to learning and research. ITMU expects its students to have the motivation to go through a rigorous programme and realise their full potential, being transformed in the process. The School of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech and M.Tech degree courses across disciplines. Areas of specialisation include mechanical engineering, computer science, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, information technology and civil engineering. The School of Management offers a bachelor of business administration degree, BCom (Hons) and BSc economics (Hons) at the undergraduate level and master of business administration (MBA) at the graduate level. It is also in the process of offering a part-time executive MBA for working professionals in the region and management development programmes for industry. The School of Law offers the five year integrated BBA-LLB (Hons) degree at the undergraduate level and a master’s in law for graduates. All schools offer PhD programmes across disciplines.

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join the Medical Programme Professional Service Team. The post holder will work closely with the Senior Administrative Officer and Medical Programme Manager to support them in delivering assessment and progression processes and for the School of Medicine’s Graduate Medicine programme. The role This role will focus on managing and implementing processes in relation to all aspects of student assessment and ensuring accurate records and data are managed and in line with University and GMC regulations. The postholder is expected to build a knowledge of the systems and processes involved in order to meet expectations for recording and tracking student progress. About you The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong technical and IT skills with a focus on reporting data and supporting the development of bespoke systems aimed at monitoring and recording student data. They should be a proactive individual, competent in the use of IT with an attitude open to change and working independently. The ability to work to a high level of accuracy is also essential. The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability demonstrating adaptability and flexibility with regards to changing workloads and priorities. The role will involve working with a range of staff across the School of Medicine and wider university and to adapt and support a number of professional administrative activities involved in the BMBS Graduate Medicine programme. A doctoral degree (or equivalent terminal degree) in Industrial Design or a closely related field; 2. Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research and application-based innovation, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: a. sustainable product-service-system innovation, including circular design, systems thinking, service-led strategies for ecological and social transformation; b. more-than-human-centered interaction and UI/UX design, encompassing inclusive, ethical, and planetary perspectives beyond individual usability; c. digital-physical design integration, such as intelligent product design, tangible user interfaces, digital fabrication, or responsive materials; d. advanced design methodologies, including research-through-design, critical and speculative design approaches; 3. A strong record or demonstrable potential in practice-led design, supported by real-world projects, impactful implementations, or industry-academic collaborations; 4. Proficiency in mainstream design software and emerging prototyping tools and materials, including physical computing, additive manufacturing, and sustainable material experimentation; 5. Evidence of academic publications and/or recognized creative outputs, such as design patents, curated exhibitions, funded projects, or international design awards; 6. Experience teaching and mentoring in studio-based, transdisciplinary, or research-intensive design courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels; 7. Fluency in English is required.
