The major objective is to downscale metabolomic techniques to the level of organelles, small cellular communities ultimately aiming at the ambitious goal of single cell analysis. Your responsibilities: Develop mass spectrometric methods advancing circular bioengineering Develop mass spectrometric methods supporting sustainable biotechnology and material design  Develop unbiased subcellular metabolomics/lipidomics  Develop single cell lipidomics Teach and support educational activities, independently and in collaboration, as outlined by the collective bargaining agreement Organize and contribute to scientific events, including meetings, conferences, and symposiums Assist with administrative duties related to research, teaching, and departmental operations Requirements: A completed doctoral degree in chemistry, bio technology or a related field. Writing texts in Czech and English: creating short social media posts, popular-science content, and web articles; ability to translate expert input from specialists into clear, readable content (with the support of experts and consultations). Connecting content across channels – social media, newsletters, and web articles. Collaboration on newsletter creation. Active identification of topics and working with expert sources (with expert support). Collaboration on the development of campaigns, mini-series, and educational formats – from idea to final output. Regular evaluation and optimization of content (what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve it). Required qualification: Secondary education required; a university degree in communication, marketing, journalism, natural sciences, or a related field is an advantage. Proven experience in social media management. Basic knowledge of social media analytics (Business Manager). Experience with content planning and creation in a broader context – social media, website, and newsletter. Basic graphic skills and the ability to work independently with simple templates (e.g. Canva). Excellent ability to create and edit texts for different target audiences. We are currently seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in RNA Epigenetics who can apply and refine their expertise in research methodologies, design and delivery to contribute to the university's standing as a national leader in the discipline. Working in the team led by Dr Justin Wong, the primary purpose of this role is to elucidate novel functions of RNA modifications in physiology and cancer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to dissect the hitherto unknown role of RNA methylation in altering gene expression and alternative splicing that cause diverse human cancers. They engage in research either independently or as part of a research team.
