About Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar
Established in 1970, the Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar is based in the north of Colombia.
The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a variety of fields. There are many different faculties, which include: engineering, social sciences and humanities, basic sciences, architecture, education, basic sciences and languages.
There’s also a range of courses, diplomas and workshops on offer, including: international professional wedding planning, accounting, advanced microsoft, structural engineering and business management.
The Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar is made up of two separate campuses and there’s transport for students to make the journey between the two easier.
The campuses have been built with sustainability in mind, with 23,861 m2 of planted vegetation distributed in interior gardens of the buildings, exterior gardens, green wall, orchards and more.
There are cafes, restaurants, a store selling souvenirs, t-shirts, sweets and stationery, a library and also a comprehensive gymnasium where students can spend time outside of the classroom.
There’s also a language centre where students can study and learn the English language to prepare them for life after university.
The Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar has established relationships with universities around the world, carrying out various exchange activities such as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and the opportunity for students to study abroad. The university welcomes students to its campus.
