The future of learning

UTS prepares students for the real world. Major projects, group work, simulations and case studies are a core component of our degrees. Our industry partners shape our course content, enabling learners to tackle the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Our campus

Over the last decade, we have transformed into a campus of the future, constructing iconic and sustainable buildings including the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, designed by Frank Gehry. Our interconnected spaces support practical learning, collaboration and research across all faculties.

Our neighbourhood

UTS is located in Tech Central, the innovation capital of Australia. Tech Central is the home of Australia’s technology economy, integrating industry, research and education – all on the doorstep of UTS. Tech Central is expected to create 25,000 jobs and provide 50,000m2 of affordable space for tech companies, startups and scaleups.

UTS is located in the heart of a world-class city. In fact, Sydney is the 4th most liveable city in the world (Economist Intelligence Unit).
