The Council's Strategic Research Board invites outline proposals for ESRC funded research Centres from researchers based at UK Higher Education Institutions or other institutions eligible for ESRC funding. The closing date for applications is on noon on 7th September 2006. Proposals received after this time will be rejected. A select number of applicants will be invited to submit a detailed full proposal in the autumn.
