Waikato Management School - The University of Waikato Joint Programme with National Economics University About the role - Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga We have an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated research-active academic to contribute to the teaching and administrative requirements in the delivery of the Bachelor of Business Degree in Digital Business, whilst developing original scholarship and research. This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam and students are taught in English. Students can complete their study in Vietnam and receive the UW degree or, if they wish, they can undertake part of their programme at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Successful candidates will hold a PhD in Digital Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, be able to demonstrate experience in teaching to large and small groups of students for whom English is not their first language, and have an established publication record. An understanding of Vietnam and its culture would be an advantage. Candidates for the position of Lecturer are expected to demonstrate a developing research profile with evidence of publishing success. Candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer are expected to demonstrate an internationally recognised research profile with a number of quality publications (including some in journals that are highly ranked, as evidenced by rankings such as ABDC at the A or A* level), as well as supervision experience and the ability to attract research funding.
