Michael Priestley is a PhD student at Durham University studying how higher education policies impact on student mental health and well-being. Michael is a member of the Student Mental Health Research Network (SMaRteN) student-led research team and Key Questions Project Steering Group. Michael is passionate about representing the student voice in all areas of student mental health research, policy and practice. He has supported research for the University Mental Health Charter and is editor of the Student Minds Blog. Michael is also a student member of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust’s College and University Advisory Board.
