Veronica Wignall is a third year PhD student at the Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects, University of Sussex. She studies the foraging ecology and behaviour of honey bees and other flower-visiting insects, including how honey bees compete with other flower visitors for floral resources. She is also a coordinator of the Brighton 500 Women Scientists pod.
