At Cengage, we continuously strive to improve the teaching and learning experience. Our Student Voices research has enabled us to work more closely with lecturers around the world, ensuring that, together, we continue to engage and challenge students, producing learning tools that best suit them and meet their changing needs.
The Student Voices survey was first conducted in 2018 and updated in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The latest research, conducted in June 2023, helps shed light on the evolving priorities and expectations of students in their post-pandemic academic journey.
The report shares key findings about elements of learning that students find challenging, their opinions on course delivery methods, employability skills and the provision of digital learning resources. The latest survey captured additional insights on levels of course engagement and how students feel their course experience can be improved.
Within the report, you’ll discover insights about:
- Motivations behind choosing undergraduate degrees
- Challenging elements within chosen subject areas
- Preferred learning styles, study methods, tools and resources
