This is a very useful book. As well as the full conjugation of 555 verbs, the usage section for each verb will rescue your students from the despair they invariably experience when faced with the problem of choosing the appropriate preposition to go with the verb, and similar dilemmas.

A very thorough and competent 36-page section on Italian tense profiles tells students everything they need to know to be able to use Italian verbs proficiently, and they will also be encouraged by the clear indication of the "Top 50 verbs" they need to get to grips with.

Who is it for? Anyone who is serious about learning the language.

Presentation - Well set out and easy to use, both in the conjugation section and in the grammatical exposition at the beginning.

Any extras? The book comes with a CD-Rom of exercises (with checkable answers), although the usefulness of this is limited by its consisting entirely, as far as I can tell, of multiple-choice questions.

Would you recommend it? Definitely.
