What need do we have of Laurie Taylor and Poppleton University when we can read in The Times Higher 's appointments section that "you will be required to make a major contribution to the development of the Dance pathway...", while in the news section, the head of a new "multi-institutional campus" on the estate of a former psychiatric hospital is quoted as saying not that he wants to encourage research but that he wants "to raise the excellent research profile"?
