Fees? No way 2

It is simply not the case that Scottish universities have not charged tuition fees for a decade. Fees for full-time undergraduates may have been abolished in 2000, but part-time students continue to face this liability.

I've gone blue in the face trying to make this point, and the associated one: that the long-overdue abolition of tuition fees for part-timers may encourage wider participation in higher education and improve social mobility.
