Money or nothing?

四月 28, 2006

Jocelyn Prudence says that I am as rich as Croesus. Sally Hunt likens me to a church mouse with an unrectified anomaly (Features, April 14).

Hunt tells me that there are untold billions available for pay rises. Prudence implies that it has already been spent on salary spines, professorial transfer deals and vice-chancellors' pay rises.

Can someone at The Times Higher or someone at Acas give me, a vaguely numerate but confused social scientist, a neutral, objective view please?
