Mungo Campbell (above) has been appointed deputy director of the Hunterian Art Gallery at the university. He is the former assistant keeper of prints and drawings at the National Gallery of Scotland.
The Geological Society Edmund Nickless will succeed Richard Bateman on July 1 as chief executive officer. Mr Nickless is current head of UK business development at the British Geological Survey.
Arko Sen, formerly with Walsall Council, has been appointed head of the department of total quality management.
