The following will continue as honorary professors in the management school: Adrian Cadbury, a director of the Bank of England (1970-94); Winston Fletcher, chairman of the advertising agency Delaney Fletcher Bozell; Wally Olins, chairman and co-founder of Wolff Olins, the corporate identity consultancy.
Geraldine Macdonald, former reader in applied social studies at Royal Holloway University of London and Cochrane research fellow at Green College, Oxford, has been appointed to the chair in social work and applied social studies.
Glenn Waller, former reader in clinical psychology at Royal Holloway College University of London, has been appointed professor of clinical psychology.
The university's centre for psychoanalytic studies has appointed the following to professorships: Robert Hinshelwood, consultant psychotherapist and clinical director of the Cassel Hospital, visiting professor in the department of human relations, University of East London; Joan Raphael-Leff, member of the Independent Group of Psychoanalysts, British Psychoanalytic Society, former social psychologist in the Medical Research Council's social psychiatry unit at the Institute of Psychiatry and senior psychotherapist at the Marlborough Day Hospital.
