As the trend for collaborative, interdisciplinary team-working sweeps the nation, Martin Kemp, professor of the history of art and a fellow of Trinity College, University of Oxford, has his work - as well as his training regime - cut out. He lists his recreations in Who's Who as "hockey, running and avoiding academics".
