Child care aims to encourage entrants

Colleges have been given Pounds 17 million to provide child-care support, the Further Education Funding Council has announced.

The package includes Pounds 5 million available this year and Pounds 7 million next year to help students and staff. A further Pounds 5 million has been earmarked for new child-care places.
